Obzerve Atlas

AI-Powered Aircraft Tracking for Live Airside Surveillance

ATLAS by Obzerve is an AI aircraft tracking system for airports and aviation operations. It locks PTZ cameras onto every aircraft movement on the airfield, identifies each flight, and records the footage in a tagged archive you can search. Your airside surveillance becomes a live track you can monitor and a permanent record you can search.

THE PROBLEM WITH LEGACY SURVEILLANCE

You can’t Search What you didn’t Track, and What you didn’t Tag.

Ordinary airside cameras can’t accurately follow each landing and takeoff on their own — so movements go uncaptured and untagged, and the footage becomes an unsearchable haystack. Tracking and archiving every aircraft movement by hand simply doesn’t scale.

THE OBZERVE SOLUTION

What Is Obzerve ATLAS?

Obzerve ATLAS is an AI-powered airside surveillance solution that connects live aircraft position data to PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras. When an aircraft lands, takes off or moves across the airfield, ATLAS points a camera at it and keeps it in frame. It also logs the movement with its flight details. The name describes the three jobs it does.

Airside Tracking

PTZ cameras lock onto aircraft and follow them across the airfield on their own, 24/7, with no operator steering the camera.

Logging

Each movement is tagged with aircraft type, registration, airline, flight number, status and timestamp as it is recorded.

Archival

Tagged footage is stored in an indexed archive. Any aircraft movement can be found by its flight details for review, investigation or audit.
CORE CAPABILITIES

Four Capabilities, Working as One.

Obzerve ATLAS brings automatic tracking, flight data capture, alert prioritisation and flexible processing into one airport surveillance system.

Automated Aircraft Tracking

Slew-to-cue PTZ lock-on follows every aircraft movement across the airfield, 24/7, with no operator. Aircraft are tracked through landing, takeoff and ground movement. Security and operations teams get continuous, real-time tracking instead of occasional views.

Rich Metadata Collection

Obzerve ATLAS captures aircraft type, registration, airline, flight number, status and timestamp for each movement. This data makes every clip searchable and tells operators exactly which flight they are watching.

Smart Prioritisation

Emergencies and unusual activity are raised automatically. Attention goes where it is needed instead of being spread evenly across every camera feed.

Flexible Processing

ATLAS runs near-edge or on-server to fit your setup. It delivers real-time analytics with minimal delay and can run on a local network or offline.

HOW IT WORKS

From Runway to Console - End to End

Obzerve ATLAS works in three stages. Position data tells the cameras where to look. AI video analytics follow the aircraft. Flight information turns each track into a record you can search.

STAGE 01

Capture + AI Tracking

PTZ cameras capture the airfield while ATLAS analytics track and identify every aircraft in real time. Cued by the Flight Position Receiver, each camera stays locked on as the aircraft lands, takes off or taxis.

STAGE 02

Data Fusion

Camera tracks are combined with live flight-position feeds, flight information and weather data. This links what the camera sees to the aircraft’s identity and status, so flight tracking and video analytics appear in one view.

STAGE 03

Console · Mobile · API

One management layer delivers live tracks, alerts and recordings through:

  • a web dashboard
  • a mobile app
  • an open API
  • integration with your existing VMS (video management system)
CAPTURE & RETRIEVE

An Audit-Ready Record of Every Flight Operation

Obzerve ATLAS builds an indexed, searchable archive of aircraft video as it records. Footage is ready for investigation and audit without anyone tagging it by hand.

Tagged at Capture

Flight number, registration, aircraft type and timestamp are written into the record as each clip is captured, not added later by hand.

Searchable Archive

Find any aircraft’s movement in seconds. Search the archive by flight number, registration or aircraft type instead of scrubbing through each camera’s timeline.

Faster Compliance

Incident and audit reviews drop from days of scrubbing footage to minutes, because the footage is already indexed by the flight it shows.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is ATLAS by Obzerve?

Obzerve ATLAS (Airside Tracking, Logging and Archival System) is an AI-powered aircraft tracking and airside surveillance solution. It uses aircraft position data to steer PTZ cameras onto each aircraft and tracks the aircraft with AI video analytics. It then tags the footage with flight details and stores it in a searchable archive.

An AI aircraft tracking system uses computer vision and video analytics to follow aircraft in camera footage automatically. ATLAS adds live position data and flight information. It knows where each aircraft is, keeps a camera on it and records which flight it is.
The Obzerve Flight Position Receiver supplies live aircraft position. ATLAS uses that position to cue a PTZ camera, which turns toward the aircraft and locks on. AI analytics then keep the aircraft tracked as it moves, with no operator steering the camera.

Slew-to-cue is a way of controlling cameras where an outside position source tells a PTZ camera where to point. The camera slews (pans and tilts) to that position and follows the target. ATLAS uses aircraft position data as the cue.

Aircraft type, registration, airline, flight number, flight status and timestamp. These are attached to the video as it is recorded.
